Binondo Foodtrip III

After so many years, we are back in Binondo!

The monsoon did not stop us to push through with this plan.. Yes, we were THAT hungry!!!!!!!

I have tried Binondo foodtrip before way back November and December 2011!!! Haha! Imagine, and surprisingly, some old same old with these food!

If you want to read my entries 8 years ago, Part I here and Part II here..

We parked in Lucky Chinatown Mall. It's 50 pesos for the first 3 hours and then 20 for the succeeding hour.

We started our tour at Sincerity Restaurant because it was just inside the mall!... and it was also raining! The last time my husband and I ate here was in their original branch. My friend also said it is cheaper there.

Their chicken --- still delicious!!! It is herby, crunchy and juicy!! :) We tried their fried kikiam too and it is good! And lastly this oyster cake that looks like torta talong... But no, this doesn't have eggplant, instead it has glutinous rice, some herb and of course oyster.. I didn't like it. That stickiness with egg doesn't work well for me.

Next: From Sincerity in Lucky Chinatown Mall, we rode a tricycle going to our next destination, which is Wai Ying. It was raining real hard, that is why. Otherwise we could have just walked. The driver collected 100 pesos.

Wai Ying.

We ordered Roast Pork Mami, Fishball Mami, Hakaw, Thaipao and Milk tea jelly! All are yummy! 😋

The original Sa Lido since 1945.

Their famous pork asado. Always sold out! Therefore better be here early for you not to miss it. The restaurant is pretty old (and creepy for me). And even the customers are pretty old too.. or maybe it was just a coincidence. But I don't know... This restaurant has long been here since 1945, these are their patrons!

Estero.

Of course, Binondo foodtrip wouldn't be complete without these frogs!

We tried fried frog legs with chili and paires it with San Mig light. It was the perfect food to end the day!
