Binondo Foodtrip

It was all out of curiosity for me at first, being not fond of Chinese foods, to see for myself why Binondo is becoming so popular as a place for food trip. I had my chance when hubby and I were in Quiapo for personal reasons that we decided, since we were already in Manila might as well visit Binondo.

It was a rainy Thursday morning at 9, though it was a bit muddy on the streets, this didn't discourage from from pushing through with our plan. Hubby and I planned to starved ourselves to, you know, have enough storage for our foodtrip :)

Fried Siopao.

From Hidalgo Street, we walked towards Ongpin street, pass Sta Cruz church. From what I've read, Fried Siopao is just along Ongpin, so it was the first we spotted and tried for only P16. It tastes good not because we were so starving, but because of its soft dough stuffed with meat and veggie bits.

New Toho Food Center.

We were told that the landmark was after crossing the bridge, intersecting the road is PinPin street, where we turned left. The store is at the left side of the road, beside it is a furniture shop. We asked for their best seller and the waiter recommended their Pancit. We also tried Pinsec Prito.

delicous! especially its sahog!

Sincerity Restaurant.

From PinPin Street, we headed towards Yuchengco Street. The restaurant is at the middle of the building and beside it are office supplies stores so its a bit hard to notice this restaurant. We tried their famous Sincerity Fried Chicken.

Wai Ying FastFood.

This is our last stop. This place was packed when we went here. My hubby loves curry so we tried their curry beef siomai. Hakaw was interesting. First time kong nasarapan sa milk tea.

I can say I now appreciate Chinese food more after this experience!!
