Tanay, Rizal: Bakasyunan Resort
It was 5:30am when we left our office in Shaw Blvd that Saturday to start our 2 hour drive via a private vehicle for our team building. The other group commuted via a Jeepney with a Tanay Rizal signage. From Tanay, the group were approached by tricycle drivers offering transport service to the resort for P100 each. Pretty expensive, but really, the distance is pretty long. Travel time is 2 1/2. Thank goodness to patok jeepneys, the group arrived earlier than expected.
A week prior to our trip, a reservation was made. We also availed their package and customized the activities.

Bakasyunan Resort in Tanay was an old mansion turned into an adventure camp. The place is really big and overlooking the mansion is the Laguna de Bay. This resort has a branch in Iba, Zambales.
The first thing we checked was the pool.
I noticed the smiles on my team's face upon seeing this huge pool. The man at the center is standing on few steps leading to the other pool.
After filling up our tummies, we started the activities. First is the obstacle course. There were guides who assisted and explained how the activities should go. (I blurred the faces for privacy purposes! lol)
So that's the end of the obstacle course. The last part, the climbing, was really difficult.
We moved on to the next activity, Pipe Waterfall. Based on the image below, each member should hold the pipe and pass the water onto the next pipe until it reaches the gallon of water. The team to fill up the gallon most wins, of course!
Next, the Team Walker.
Spiderweb. Every team member should pass through this hole without touching the web. Take note, no one should pass through the same hole. This game was really funny. Imagine, a big person passing through a small hole! That would be really tough! There is a technique though, but I'm not going to say it. :)
Then we all did rappelling and the zipline (100 meters). For the final activity, we tried the Mud Slide!
..and this is me in action! better close the mouth and nose, or else!
........ it was crazy! and the smell was really bad I almost puked!
But hey, we all enjoyed the idea and that's the most important part!
Overall, Bakasyunan is highly recommended for group activities. They are currently constructing more rooms and another pool at the back. I guess the only negative I can say is it's accessibility for commuters.
