Clark, Pampanga: Dinosaur Island Park

Dinosaur Island Park is located in Clark Freeport Zone, Angeles City, Pampanga. Since we live in Marilao, its just an hour away via NLEX from Marilao Toll Gate. We exited at Mabalacat Toll Gate, then followed the road that leads to Clark FreePort Zone. The signs are easy to follow, so going there is easy as a breeze! :)

We took a stop when we saw Picnic Ground. The Dinosaur Park is located behind it, around 200 meters away. The place was packed with kids doing educational tour on a Saturday morning. Because it was an hour before noon and we were already hungry, we decided to take our lunch at McDonald's, that's just beside Value City Duty Free and near Puregold Duty Free. There are no restaurants in Dinosaur Park, just small stores selling hotdogs, shawarma, softdrinks, etc..

We came back at around 1PM. Thank goodness, there were lesser kids. Paid the entrance fee of P350 then went inside. For walk-in guests, there are no tour guides unlike other groups doing field trips.

Built with animatronics technology, same technology used in the movies, these dinosaurs move and make sounds replicating real life dinosaurs.

I saw kids, especially toddlers, crying out of fright upon seeing these life-size dinosaurs. Who wouldn't? they look so real!!

Even my kid was scared at first, but after few persuasions, he enjoyed the entire tour. He was able to touch the skin of a dino!

It was a fun experience! Though it could have been better if there was a tour guide explaining some nitty gritty stuff. The good thing about it was we had free time all by ourselves so we took unlimited pictures all we want!! teehee!

Before heading home, we saw field trip buses parked in Cream Line Factory House. We were curious, so we made a stop as well. We weren't able to get inside the ice cream factory because reservation must be made prior to visiting, said the store crew.

Of course, our Clark trip wouldn't be complete without vising Duty Free. There's a lot of Duty Free stores here but the most famous one is Puregold Duty Free.

We all had fun that day! The drive was just short, my kids enjoyed seeing dinosaurs and I enjoyed shopping in Duty Fee!! :)
