Overnight Glamping at Nurture Wellness Village

I first learned about Glamping from a blogger who has tried this in Sumilon Island, Cebu. I thought it is so cool to be having all the luxury inside a tent. I myself slept in a tent a few times but less the luxurious stuff. Those were when we went ovenight camping in Dampalitan Island in Quezon, in Palaui Island in Cagayan Valley, and in Bantayan Island in Cebu. It's always fun sleeping close to nature. But while that is fun, it can also be a hassle. Carrying around a tent plus a sleeping bag can be a hassle. Or bags used as a pillow is not very comfortable to sleep in at all and can be a hassle.

Glamping, a blend of two words - glamorous and camping, is the answer to those who would like to sleep outdoors, less the burden, but with the lavishness of a hotel experience.

Thank goodness, I won't need to fly to Cebu. Because Nurture Wellness  Village in Tagaytay, one of the best spa in the Philippines, offers this service.

I scored a cheap package from Dealgrocer, an online group buying site, for an overnight glamping for 2 for only P4,500. This package includes dinner, breakfast, 30 min massage, bonfire, use of pool, and Nurture walk. Ain't that cool or what???!!!!!

Reservation was easy. I did it online and was responded swiftly.

March 15. Sunday.

We arrived at Nurture Spa 2 hours earlier than our expected checked in. We were greeted by friendly staff in the Reception area and served pandan tea while we fill out guest forms. While waiting for 2PM, our checked in time, we engaged ourselves by playing chess, pool, cricket in the garden. My kid enjoyed the playground too!

1:00 PM. We were led to an open massage area for our 30-min massage. Our options are either face massage, head and shoulder massage or foot massage. I chose the head and shoulder massage and I tell you when she was massaging my head, I felt like I was going to cry. That's how good it felt.

2:00 PM. There are two glamping area with two tents each.

Because there were only two groups that time, we were given each area to occupy solely. Like we own that little place. There are tables and chairs and bonfire beside our tent.

This place also has a pool, which is only 4 ft deep.

6:30 PM. Dinner by the bonfire. Our personal butler lit the bonfire and began preparing our food. We had a platter of BBQ, rice, fresh fruits and basil and Pandan juice for dinner. They even lent us a guitar.

We slept soundly that night and it was difficult to wake up the next day. The sound of birds and the gush of the leaves lulled us back to sleep. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were soft. The weather was perfect.

Breakfast. Our complimentary breakfast are Arrozcaldo and Kale juice. It was delicious!

We were supposed to go to Nurture walk, unfortunately, we were late. The group already left. Anyway, that's fine. We spent our remaining time cozying up in bed until it was ready to leave.

Our glamping experience was a whole lot of fun. And Nurture Spa made our stay so relaxing because of its ambiance, delicious food and friendly vibes of the staff.

I would definitely come back and recommend this highly to friends.
