A day trip to Minalungao National Park
Nueva Ecija is one of the places I have not visited yet. Well, we always pass by Nueva Ecija everytime we travel north, but to stay in the place atleast for a day is the goal of this trip.
One of the famous spots in Nueva Ecija is the Minalungao National Park. It has a river with a beautiful white rock formation backdrop.
Instead traveling via NLEX, we opted to go through the East Bulacan road which is more accessible to us coming from Marilao, Bulacan. The green scenery is refreshing being our first time to travel east Bulacan road. The roads are well-paved, no wonder we have seen bikers enjoying in this area.

We only spent half a day here.. It was the weekend of the holy week when we went here and so it was packed as freak! Better visit during off peak season if you hate the crowd.
After lunch, we headed to Cabanatuan City where we stayed for a night at Microtel Inn Cabanatuan.
Our kids definitely enjoyed the pool in Microtel. The following day, which happened to be an Easter day, Microtel set up an egg painting booth at the lobby for the kids to enjoy!
